Little Fig Farm is a family-owned orchard located in Scappoose, Oregon — a quiet town in Columbia County along the Columbia River, roughly 20 miles northwest of Portland. We are a working family farm focused on growing high-quality figs suited to the Pacific Northwest climate.
Our main crop is a carefully curated collection of 48 fig varieties. We emphasize cold-hardy and early-ripening cultivars that reliably produce in western Oregon’s mild winters and cooler summers, while also maintaining classic Mediterranean and Southern varieties in our warmer microclimates.
Everything we grow is tended by the family. We believe good fruit starts with healthy soil, thoughtful pruning, and picking at the right moment — not the most convenient one.
Location
Scappoose, Oregon (Columbia County). We are in USDA Zone 8a/8b territory with the benefit of the Columbia River corridor’s moderating influence. Customers can arrange local pickup; limited delivery options may be available in the greater Portland area depending on season and order size.

Our growing philosophy
Figs are surprisingly at home in western Oregon when the right varieties are chosen. We prioritize:
